Each year, La Danse Fatale dancers host a Ballet Clinic at Dance Arts Centre to raise money for our showcase event. The clinic is open to dancers age 3 to 12.
The dancers are put into groups by age and taught different dances from “The Nutcracker” by the La Danse Fatale company dancers. Julia Levina, the artistic director and choreographer of La Danse Fatale, warms up the dancers with barre, and then the La Danse Fatale dancers teach the girls the choreography.
There is a performance for family and friends at the end of the clinic, starting with a demonstration by the La Danse Fatale dancers, followed by a performance of each group of dancers who took the clinic. Each dancer will receive a goody bag for attending.
